SOLUTION ENGINEER (SE)
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Solution Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to inspire and guide customers. You thrive on solving problems, simplifying complexity, and showing engineers, Innovation people and 3D Designers what’s possible with Spherene's cutting-edge design and additive manufacturing technology.
In this critical role, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and product team: delivering compelling demos, proof-of-concept (PoC/PoV) projects, and supporting onboarding and adoption. Your work ensures that Spherene’s groundbreaking ADMS technology becomes seamlessly embedded in customer design and production workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver live demos, workshops, and technical presentations that inspire engineers and decision-makers.

Lead Proof-of-Value (PoV) and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects with enterprise clients, ensuring successful outcomes.

Work hands-on in CAD environments such as i.e. Rhino/Grasshopper, nTop, Autodesk Fusion, and others.

Support customers with onboarding, training, and technical best practices to accelerate adoption.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them apply ADMS technology to their real-world challenges.

Serve as the bridge between customers and Spherene’s product team, providing structured feedback to guide product development.

Represent Spherene at trade shows, conferences, and customer events as the technical expert.
REQUIREMENTS

Strong background in CAD/CAE and mechanical design.

Solid understanding of lattice structures, topology optimization, and additive manufacturing workflows.

Excellent presentation and communication skills — able to explain complex topics with clarity and confidence.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Design, or a related field.

Hands-on experience with leading CAD platforms and Simulations tools (i.e.: Rhino/Grasshopper, nTop, Autodesk Fusion, Ansys, or other).

Experience working at a CAD/CAE software solution, SaaS vendors, additive manufacturing company, or service bureau is a strong plus.

Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate closely with both engineers and decision-makers.

Fluent in English; German or other European languages are a strong advantage.
