
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (AE)

We’re seeking a driven and ambitious Account Executive who thrives on opening doors, building trusted relationships, and turning sales and innovation into customer success. You’re curious, resilient, and energized by the challenge of bringing disruptive technology into established industries.
This is a critical role in Spherene’s expansion: working closely with colleagues — including Solution Engineers and Marketing — you will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to demos, proof-of-concepts, negotiations, and closing. Your impact doesn’t stop there: you’ll continue nurturing accounts, ensuring adoption, and building long-term partnerships beyond the first deal.
As an Account Executive, you’re not just selling software; you’re helping companies reimagine what’s possible with ADMS and embedding our technology into their workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to demos, proof-of-concepts, negotiations, closing, and account growth.

Work closely with Solution Engineers to deliver compelling demos and technical validation tailored to each customer.

Identify, target, and develop opportunities within key industries (i.e. aerospace, automotive, footwear, medical, and industrial).

Build and maintain strong relationships with both technical stakeholders (engineers, R&D) and commercial stakeholders (procurement, executives).
- Drive pilots and proofs-of-concept (PoC), ensuring successful adoption and measurable outcomes.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue, pipeline, and activity targets.

Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies.

Represent Spherene at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Provide structured feedback to Product and Leadership to continuously improve customer experience and product-market fit.



REQUIREMENTS

3–5 years of experience in B2B sales (SaaS, CAD/CAE software, additive manufacturing, or engineering tech).

Proven track record of new logo acquisition and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Hunter mentality — energized by prospecting, opening doors, and building pipeline from scratch.

Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical value into ROI for both engineers and executives.

Comfortable running the entire sales cycle, from discovery to negotiation and closing, with ongoing account management.
- Experience working closely with Solution Engineers or technical counterparts to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Fluent in English; German or other European languages are a strong plus.

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where processes evolve quickly.

Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
