CHANNEL MANAGER

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

This is a full-time role based in Zürich for a Channel Manager. The role involves recruiting, enabling, and managing channel partners to drive indirect revenue growth. The candidate will build and maintain strong partner relationships, identify new partnership opportunities, and collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams on joint go-to-market strategies. Additional responsibilities include partner onboarding and training, pipeline management, performance tracking, and supporting partners throughout the sales cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute Spherene’s channel partner strategy to drive revenue growth

  • Recruit, onboard, and enable new channel partners (mainly resellers, distributors, strategic alliances)

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with existing partners to ensure engagement and performance

  • Create and deliver partner enablement programs, including training, certifications, and sales tools

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align partner initiatives 

  • Track partner performance, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM and reporting tools

  • Design and manage partner incentives, deal registration, and joint go-to-market plans

  • Identify new market opportunities through channel expansion

  • Represent Spherene at partner events, conferences, and industry meetings

REQUIREMENTS

Must‑Have

  • Min. 4-5 years of experience in channel management, indirect / partner sales, or business development
  • Proven track record of driving revenue through indirect sales channels selling software/SaaS
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, and scaling partner ecosystems
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple partners and priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Experience working with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot
  • Excellent Business English, written and spoken, with the ability to clearly articulate technical value to both engineering and executive audiences.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience working in a CAD software environment
  • Background in additive manufacturing or the 3D printing industry
  • Familiarity with workflows across design, engineering, and manufacturing teams
  • Experience partnering with resellers or integrators in the manufacturing or engineering software space
  • Understanding of industrial customers and production-oriented use cases
