SPHERENE FOR RHINO® AND GRASSHOPPER®

Generate lattice and lightweight structures seamlessly within Rhino and Grasshopper, without leaving your design flow.

RHINO®

Rhino gives you the freedom to sculpt complex, precise geometry.

Spherene extends that freedom by enabling lattice and lightweight structures that would be tedious to model manually.

Ideal for architecture, product design, and experimental research, Spherene enriches Rhino’s modeling environment without limiting creativity.

GRASSHOPPER WORKFLOW

  • Spherene integrates seamlessly with Grasshopper, providing components that let you control boundaries, cavities, and internal structures parametrically.

  • Combine Spherene with other Grasshopper tools to build adaptive, rule-based workflows — and instantly regenerate structures as parameters change, keeping your design fully editable.

HOW IT INTEGRATES

After installing the plugin in your Rhino/Grasshopper through their Package manager (Guide) Spherene will guide you through a quick 3-step setup:

  1. Create or sign in to your Spherene account
  2. Verify your email address
  3. Copy and paste your unique API key into the plugin

STARTS WITH THE TRIAL

This process starts a free trial, allowing you to experience all of Spherene’s capabilities immediately.

If you decide to purchase at any time during the trial, or once the trial ends, a Buy button inside the plugin will direct you to our shop. Upon completing your purchase, your license will be activated within one business day.

FAQ

We want to simplify your life. In the following you see answers to some questions that might arise.

Which versions of Rhino does Spherene support?

Spherene is compatible with Rhino 7 and later. We recommend keeping Rhino updated to the latest service release to ensure smooth integration.

Do I keep parametric control after generation? Yes. Spherene works within Rhino’s and Grasshopper’s parametric environment, so your designs remain editable and adaptable even after generating lattice structures.
Are there any system requirements? What you'll need:
  • Internet Connection
  • Rhino3D Version 7+ (Not included. Purchase separately)
  • macOS 14+/Windows 7+
  • 32GB RAM
Does it work directly in Grasshopper? Yes. Spherene integrates fully with Grasshopper, allowing you to generate lattice structures as part of your parametric definitions and combine them with other computational design components.
How do I get support? Start your spherene journey with confidence. Visit our spherene online documentation for comprehensive guides, tips and insights. Feel free to read the documentation prior purchase or join the spherene Discord channel for community insights and support.
