sphereneNXT: An introduction
The inside of a part: designed, optimised, print-ready. In one platform.
sphereneNXT is the browser-based platform from Spherene. It takes any CAD or mesh file, lets you design the internal structure using ADMS adaptive geometry and a growing library of TPMS lattice types, and produces a print-ready output, all without installing anything on your machine.
You open a browser, sign in, import your geometry, configure the infill, compute, and export. The whole workflow runs in the cloud, with data stored in Europe. From a student working on a thesis project to an aerospace engineering team needing a formal procurement contract, the entry point is the same: a browser tab.

What SphereneNXT does
sphereneNXT is focused on one specific problem: the internal structure of a part. While most CAD tools shape the outside, sphereneNXT works on what is underneath, the geometry that sets weight, strength, and flow.
- Import any CAD or mesh file: STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, and PLY, including multi-body assemblies.
- Apply ADMS adaptive infill or select from TPMS lattice types. New structures are added as platform updates, with no reinstall required.
- Drive the structure with fields. Density, thickness, cell size, surface bias, Scatter Vector, and Flow Direction all vary continuously across the part, placing material where performance demands it and removing it where it does not.
- Add modifiers: cavities, boundaries, Booleans, and the volcano modifier for print preparation.
- Compute in the cloud. A pre-flight estimator shows time and credit cost before you run. HPC compute is available for faster results on demanding jobs.
- Export to multiple CAD and mesh formats, or send directly to a certified print partner without leaving the platform.
How it differs from the Spherene plugins
The Rhino, Grasshopper, Fusion, and nTop plugins give engineers deep integration inside their existing CAD environment. sphereneNXT is a separate, independent platform that works alongside any CAD tool without being embedded in one.

Plans and credits
sphereneNXT runs on a credit system. Importing, visualising, and setting up your design is always free. Credits are consumed when you compute, simulate, export, or send to a print partner.
Five tiers are available: Free trial, Student (free), Faculty, Maker (free to start, pay as you go), Professional, and Enterprise. Each tier includes different credit allocations, seat limits, and features. Visit the SphereneNXT plans page for full details.
Get started
sphereneNXT is available at spherene.io. Sign up with an email code or passkey, no credit card required for the free tiers. New Maker accounts receive free credits to explore the full workflow before purchasing more.
