Spherene for Rhino Tutorial 11: Filling the Whole Part with DF Envelope

A DF envelope fills your part more completely by generating the lattice inside a larger shape, then trimming it to your real envelope, handy when regular density leaves gaps in tight areas.

In this video you'll learn how to:

  • Compute a normal result first to see where the structure doesn't fully fill
  • Draw a larger shape, like a box, around your main envelope
  • Select it as the DF envelope mesh, no extra settings needed
  • Compute and compare: the lattice now fills the whole shape, with a cut-through outer surface

For parts where standard ADMS leaves corners empty, a DF envelope fills them in, at the cost of the conformal outer surface.
