Fusion Tutorial 12: Filling Complex Shapes with the DF Envelope
When your structure has sharp edges or your volcanoes are too large to fit a complex shape, the DF Envelope is the answer. It helps you fill tricky geometry far more completely.
In this video you'll learn how to:
- Recognize when a structure isn't filling your envelope well
- Create a larger body and select it as the DF Envelope
- Generate the ADMS inside the larger envelope, then cut your structure out of it for a much better fit
- Reduce the volcano size further when you want an even tighter fill
