Fusion Tutorial 10: Creating Cavities the Right Way
Need to keep part of your structure empty? Cavities are the clean way to do it, removing a region from your envelope without disturbing the ADMS structure around it.
In this video you'll learn how to:
- Use Add Cavity to remove a region from your envelope before the structure is generated
- Choose between back labyrinth and front labyrinth, and see the difference between them
- Understand why cavities are better than a Boolean remove: the ADMS forms around the cavity as if it was never there, so the structure's properties stay intact
When you need to carve out space, cavities are the way to do it without compromising your part.
